Tehran, May 17, IRNA - Persepolis club of Tehran outwitted its heavy weight opponent Sepahan of Isfahan in a breathtaking play in Tehran on Saturday.

Persepolis defeated its rival in a stiffing play 2-1 and picked up the trophy.

Over 100,000 football fans watched the game at Azadi Stadium in Tehran.

This is for the second time that Persepolis picks up the trophy in Iran's Premier League championships dubbed as Persian Gulf cup.

Sepahan after Persepolis reserved a ticket for Asian games.
