Tehran, May 20, IRNA - Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in Tehran on Tuesday that the European Union's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, is to arrive in Tehran soon to present the P5+1 package of incentives to the Iranian leaders.
He made the remarks in a joint press conference with his counterpart from Ghana, Akwasi Asei-Adjei.
"Recently, Solana has requested for a trip to Iran to present the EU's package of incentives. The request has been accepted by the Iranian officials," Mottaki said.
However, the Iranian foreign minister did not elaborate on the exact date of Solana's visit.
Referring to Iran's package of proposals, he said the general views of the package have been announced and the details will be announced in an appropriate time.
Tehran's package of proposals aimed at resolving the world problems was presented to Solana by Iran's Ambassador to Belgium, Ali Asghar Khaji, last week.
Welcoming Iran's package of proposals, Solana promised to study the contents of the package in the earliest and inform the Iranian officials of the result.
