The 2nd International Congress on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICNN2008) will be held in Tabriz University from October 28-30, IRNA reported from Tabriz in East Azarbaijan province of Iran.

Those who are interested to take part in the event should send their articles through the public relations office website (www.icnn2008.com) until May 30.

Currently, some 170 researchers have applied for taking part in the event of whom 30 are foreigners.

The foreign researchers are from Australia, the US, India, Pakistan, Russia, Germany and Nigeria.

The topics to be discussed in the congress consist of nano-biotechnology, nano-structured materials, nano-composites, nano-electronics, nano-mechanics, nano-medicine, nano-sensors, nano-biosensors, nano-photonics and nano-magnetism, nano-scale fabrications, green nanotechnology, etc.
