TEHRAN, Nov. 5 (Mehr News Agency) - Iranian and Iraqi aviation CEOs signed a memorandum of understanding here on Wednesday on air transportation.
The Mehr News Agency quoted Iranian Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) Spokesman Reza Jafarzadeh as saying that the two sides agreed on launching flights, controlling air routes and maintaining security of flights.
The official noted that according to the MOU, domestic airlines will have seven Tehran-Baghdad round trip flights per week as well as 14 flights to Najaf from other airports across the country.
The officials also agreed on cargo flights cooperation, the CAO spokesman said.
