Tehran, Nov 29, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Doha, Qatar, Saturday to attend a regional meeting for development and finance.

The president is to participate in the conference on Financing for Development sponsored by the United Nations and hosted by Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

Upon arrival at the Doha airport, President Ahmadinejad and his entourage were welcomed by senior Qatari officials.

President Ahmadinejad is accompanied by Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Soleimani, and Minister of Economy and Finance Shamseddin Hosseini.

The participants would discuss effects of the existing financial crisis on developing countries as well as the ways out of the crisis.
