Tehran,
Nov 29, IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.0 on Richter scale hit the outskirts of
the city of Bardkhoun in Bushehr province, southern Iran, Friday evening.
The Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 23:46
hours local time (2016 GMT).
The tremor was epicentered in an area located 51.53 degrees in longitude and
28.16 degrees in latitude.
Force four quake is not strong enough to cause any casualty or damage to
property.
Iran is often shaken by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the
world's most active seismic fault lines.
