Tehran, Sept 6, IRNA - President of Iran's Weight Lifting Federation Bahram Afsharzadeh in a decree appointed former world weightlifting champion Hossein Rezazadeh as the head coach of the national team.

Afsharzadeh told IRNA, "Rezazadeh is a genius in weightlifting who has worked with the best world coaches."

He added, "Rezazadeh, with his valuable experiences, can create positive developments in the field of sport."

Afsharzadeh also appreciated former head coach of national team Bahman Zare for his work in Beijing Olympic Games.
