Tehran, Sept 9, IRNA - First National Internet Satire Festival was launched with an aim of identifying Internet satirists and supporting them, creating a sound atmosphere for competition and introducing correct patterns of satire writing.

According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the festival, all webloggers as well as those writing in their personal websites or press sites can take part in the event.

Those interested in taking part in the festival should submit their works not later than October 3.

The entries will be reviewed in terms of contents and graphic design of the site or weblog.

Three top artists will be awarded three to one gold coins respectively at the closing ceremony.
