Quake jolts Hormozgan province
Tehran,
Sept 14, IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Soura
city in Hormozgan province southern Iran on Sunday morning.
Local seismological centers affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran
University registered the tremor at 09:51 hours local time (05:21 GMT).
The tremor was epicentered in an area located in 26.66 degrees of latitude and
55.89 degrees longitude.
There is no report of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quake.
Iran is often shaken by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the
world's most active seismic fault lines.

of Parehsar city in Gilan province northern Iran on Saturday night.
Local seismological centers affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran
University registered the tremor at 23:13 hours local time (1833 GMT).
The tremor was epicentered in an area located in 36.79 degrees in latitude and
49.72 degrees in longitude.
There is no report of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quake.

Quake
jolts areas in Fars province
Shiraz, Sept 13, IRNA - An earthquake measuring
3.0 degrees on Richter scale jolted surrounding areas of Maharloo Lake in Fars
Province on Saturday.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to the Tehran
University Geophysics Institute, tremor occurred at 16:18 hours local time
(12:48 GMT) and its epicenter was at 29.37 latitude and 52.90 degrees longitude.
There is no report on damage.
Maharloo Lake is located in south east of Shiraz, capital of Fars Province.
