London, Sept 17, IRNA - Iranian runner Hossein Fazeli in his Tour of Peace to 15 European countries entered Oslo, capital of Norway, on Wednesday.
Fazeli, wearing a shirt with flags of Iran and Norway, passed main streets in Oslo and entered the City Hall, venue of holding Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
In a meeting with Oslo deputy mayor in international affairs, Fazeli explained the aims of his tour and said, "I am carrying a message of peace, friendship and tranquility of Iranians to European nations."
Now, I am here and I would like to convey my message to your nation and wish happiness, honor and prosperity for the Norwegian people, the Iranian runner told Norwegian city official.
He also presented an Iranian handicraft gift as an indication of peace and friendship between the two nations to the official.
Oslo deputy mayor in International Affairs, for his part, wished peace and happiness for Hossein Fazeli and Iranian nation and expressed hope that friendly ties remain forever.
Fazeli had passed Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, the Netherlands and Germany before arriving in Norway.
