Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (known as Imam Reza in Iran) (Eleventh of Dhu al-Qi'dah, 148 AH - Seventeenth of Safar, 203 AH) (Approximately: January 1, 765 - May 26, 818) was the Seventh descendent of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the eighth Twelver Shī'a Imām. His given name was Ali ibn Musa ibna Ja'far. Imam Reza is buried in Mashhad, Khorasan province of Iran. His shrine is visited by millions of Shiites each year. Following photos are from pilgrims' supper served by the shrine of Imam Reza.
