TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (Mehr News Agency)--Iran under-19 football team has qualified for the final game of the Vietnam International Football Tournament by defeating the host on Friday night.

Iranian team thrashed Vietnam 4-0 in the semi-final stage in Hue City's Tu Do Stadium.

In another match, Thailand edged past Singapore 3-1.

Iran was in group B along with Singapore and Myanmar. Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand were drawn in Group A.

The Iranian team will play Thailand in the final game at the Tu Do stadium on Sunday.

The winner will pocket a cash prize of US$10,000.

Iran is preparing for AFC U-19 Championship to be held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, from October 31.
