Tehran, April 7, IRNA -- The Fifth International Tourism and Hotel Management Exhibition will be held in Isfahan from May 14-17.
Announcing this, head of the Headquarters for Publicity and Tourism Exhibitions, Mohammad Hossein Barzin added that the event, which will be held in over 150 pavilions, will extend over an area of 4,000 square meters.
It is to be attended by the Iranian and foreign companies, institutes and tourism activists, he noted.
He added that the exhibit aims to promote the culture of tourism and introduce the capacities of the industry.
Organizing the event in the picturesque city of Isfahan, which is considered the gem of Iran's tourism, provides a chance to focus on the city's tourism capacities, he said.
He hoped that the exhibit will play a crucial role in regulating Iran's tourism market.
"Based on 20-Year Vision, tourism has a special status in the country's economic development," he said.
Underlining the need to stabilize Iran's position in the world tourism with the participation in more than 50 international expositions, Barzin said that organizing tourism exhibitions is the best means of benefitting from commercial opportunities in the world.
