TEHRAN, April 11 (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran's House of Cinema asked presidential candidates to clearly announce their future programs on cinema.
In a statement released on Friday, the House of Cinema requested the presidential candidates to clarify their future programs and their opinions on art, culture, and cinema.
The statement is followed by several questions posed by the House, to which the candidates' answers will help familiarize the cineastes with their opinions.
1- What are your specific programs to help develop the economy of art in cinema, and how do you follow the share of Iran's cinematic productions in the world?
2- Do you regard the production and distribution of artworks, especially cinematic productions, a right or a concession?
3- How long will it be to take action and activate the unemployment insurance for actors?
4- How do you view cinematic audits and what procedures do you intend to follow?
5- What are your plans to support the rights of actors and cinematic productions and how long will it take to accomplish them?
6- Do you consider the current official programs and objectives in the field of art and culture proper? And if not what new programs and structures do you propose?
7- Who would be your candidates for the future minister of culture and Islamic guidance?
At the end of the statement, Iran's House of Cinema expressed its hope that each candidate would indicate their opinions clearly and announce their position on Iran's cinema in their programs.
