Iran, Germany enhance gas cooperation
ISNA, TEHRAN - Iran and Germany agreed
cooperation on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) equipment, downstream gas industries
and refinery, the Manger of National Iranian Oil Company Dispatching Center

National Iranian Oil Company and Germany's Bayerngas signed the agreement in the
two-day Marketing Committee of the International Gas Union (IGU) meeting in
The German company is seeking purchasing Iran's natural gas for the long-run,
Torbati said adding Bayerngas working on selling, buying and transferring
natural gas seeks opening an agency in Tehran.
Also delegates from Norway, Holland, Greece, Czech Republic, Croatia, Finland,
Netherlands as well as Germany took part in Tehran's meeting.
IGU is a global non-profit organization which focuses on advancing technology
and economic growth of gas industry.
It is also cooperating closely with numerous organizations on gas discovery,
production, transfer and dispatching and consumption systems.
The union is now continuing activities through 10 committees in the world
including the Marketing Committee.
