Iran's Supreme Leader Advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi said on the sideline of the parade that the country's defense strategy serves the region's peace and security and it did not overstepped its doctrine even when the US attacked Iran's oil platform and civilian airplane during Iran-Iraq eight-year war.

The country's army will defy any invader in land, sea or air based on its defense strategy, he noted and continued that the US has trapped itself in two big battles in Iraq and Afghanistan and has no military, political and economic power to wage war with Iran.

Also Iranian Armed Forces' Joint Chief of Staff, General Hassan Firouzabadi called the country's military might as the power of Islam and Muslims.

The serious threat against Iran on behalf of the US has been reduced because "Americans have experienced and learned that they don't have the possibility of any move while confronting the might of Iran's armed forces," he noted.

Iran's massage for the entire world is "peace, security and friendship," he added.
