The second all-Iranian car, named Runna, was unveiled
here on Saturday in a ceremony attended by high-ranking officials and senior
managers of Iran's automotive industry.
Iran Khodro Company has designed and manufactured
the car and owns its intellectual property, reported the Mehr News Agency.

The car meets Euro IV and V standards related to air
pollution as well as the Pedestrian Impact safety requirement. It falls within
the class C sedans category which are affordable for the average Iranian
families.
Runna is scheduled to hit markets by March 2010.
Last year, the other Iranian carmaker SAIPA rolled
out the first all-Iranian car given the name Miniator.
