Iran Oil Minister rejects new deal with UAE's Crescent
TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran's Oil Minister Gholam Hussein
Nozari rejected a new deal with Crescent Petroleum on gas export price.
"As long as the national interests are not provided in the agreement, no gas
will be handed to the UAE Crescent company," he told ISNA on Sunday.
To meet this objective the gas exported to Crescent must have a real price and
that is while the company has not yet made a new offer, he said.
Executive Director of the Crescent Petroleum Group Majid Hamid Jafar claimed
Tuesday that it had agreed with Iran to increase the price for gas imports from
Nozari also announced Iran will probably start gas export to Armenia since the
country is determined to complete the gas pipeline within its territory.
Meanwhile, Nozari pointed to the fast progress of phases 9 and 10 of South Pars
gas filed saying it was a sign of anti-Iran sanctions' failure.
