TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran has allowed 10 European and joint Iranian-European companies to attend in bids for expanding 6 oil fields in the country under by-back conditions, said Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for Central Regions Ali Reza Zeighami.
He said some 35 domestic and foreign companies have declared they are ready to take part in bids for developments of 6 oil fields including Alborz, Boushkan, Koukan and Kouhmound.
Iran will provide them with the required documents for bids by next two months, he said.
He continued seven oil fields including Gordan, Assalouyeh, Mokhtar, Salakh and Kavir Kouh are among the ones ready for the bid and if they are expanded, they can help raise NIOC's oil output to 85 million cubic meters.
Elsewhere, he referred to Iran-Iraq oil talks and said the two sides have set up a joint work group to begin elementary steps for arrangement of a Management Development Program (MDP) for their joint oil fields and that they made agreements to demine the fields.
