TEHRAN (ISNA)- An official of Iranian armed forcec denied the report of missile attack by Israel or U.S. against an Iranian navy ship.

The official speaking on the condition of unanimity, said the report is in line with psychological warfare of foreigners against Iran and is fully baseless.

An Egyptian magazine has recently released a report claiming the Iranian navy ship was attacked by missiles near Sudan.

Iran's Navy has sent vessels to the Red Sea in an attempt to help international fight against Somali pirates who have seized over 100 ships during last year in the Gulf of Aden.
