Swine Flu Cases Hit 238 in Iran

TEHRAN, Aug. 19 (Mehr News Agency) - A total of 238 people in Iran have been so far diagnosed with swine flu, the Health Ministry announced on Wednesday.

The increasing number of people found infected with H1N1 has jumped from 196, reported last week, to 238.

According to the ministry, hajj pilgrims account for 52% of the patients, and travelers to other countries, especially South-East Asian states, make up 30% of the total number.

The health minister has heretofore urged citizens to refrain from unnecessary travels to other countries in a bid to prevent the spread of disease.
