Iran MP questions claims on Argentina bombing

Ahmad Vahidi |
TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Head of Iran's Parliament National
Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi questioned claims on
Iranian President's nominee as defense minister saying the judge examining the
Jewish center bombing case in Argentina was replaced for taking bribery.
Some media claim that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's nominee for defense
minister Ahmad Vahidi was involved in bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires
in 1994 and is wanted by the Interpol.
"You of course remember that the judge was replaced due to taking bribery and
they discussed big lies against Iran, but basically the issue has come into
question."
"Zionists will not remain calm, but the important issue is the judge confessed
that he had received bribery to probe the case."
Elsewhere, he pointed out to Iran's heavy water reactor in central city of Arak
and said, "there has been no obstacle to the IAEA inspectors to visit the
facility."
He also said despite Iran's remarks that there is no necessity to monitor Arak
heavy reactor, the nuclear facility has been visited some times by the IAEA
inspectors.
