Zolbia Bamieh is one of the favorite deserts in Iran. It is made of starch, yoghurt, flour, saffron, oil, and rose water. Following photos show the baking of Zolbia Bamieh in a pastry shop in the central city of Qom. The pastry shops are enjoying brisk business during the fasting month of Ramadan.
