Payvand.com - Thousands of students held
nationwide protests across Iran on Monday to mark the Student Day.
This year the protests were a show of force against the regime and a president
they see as illegitimate. The protesters were chanting slogans against the
regime and for the opposition leaders. Even with all the threats and security
clampdowns, including many arrests leading to December 7, the students came out
stronger than ever, and the protests spilled into the streets with others
joining the students.
