Student Day (Azar 16 -- December 7) into another show of force by the
opposition which continues its protests following the June disputed presidential
elections. The university students held
nationwide protests across Iran chanting slogans against the
regime and for the opposition leaders. Even with all the threats and security
clampdowns, including many arrests leading to Monday, the students came out
stronger than ever, and the protests spilled into the streets with others
joining the students.
