TEHRAN, Dec. 22 (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran has removed travel restrictions on actress Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Tehran Prosecutor General Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said on Tuesday. However, restrictions still remain in place on filmmakers Jafar Panahi and Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, he added. "Reports we received about these persons convinced us to forbid them to travel abroad," he stated.

impose the restrictions on the cineastes, but he said the reports were so cogent
that they had to be taken into consideration by his office.
A Tehran court will decide to continue or remove the restrictions on Panahi and Mirtahmasb, Jafari Dowlatabadi he said.
Motamed-Arya, Mirtahmasb and director Jafar Panahi have been prevented from traveling abroad by restrictions on travel imposed following the unrest that occurred after the June 12 presidential election.
