Mahmoud Ahmadinjad visited the provincial city of Shiraz in Fars province on Tuesday December 22nd where he gave a speech to a crowd at the local stadium. Photos distributed by ISNA show a lackluster attendance. Many of the people present were carrying signs about their various needs and demands.

Banners and signs are asking for workers demands to be met.

One sign says "we haven't received wages for 11 months."
Another says "Is there a good reason for 800 professionals losing their jobs?"


One sign says "Who is going to address our cries?" Other signs says similar things.
