Meet PAAIA in Florida

Source: Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA)

In February, PAAIA will be visiting Orlando and Miami to meet and greet the local Iranian American community. These events will give our community members in the area a chance to learn more about PAAIA and the vision that it represents, as well as some of PAAIA's accomplishments and current projects. This will also be an opportunity for local community members to provide us with their feedback, have their questions about PAAIA answered, and learn how they can be involved with our organization. PAAIA staff, including Babak Hoghooghi, its Executive Director, Rudi Bakhtiar, PAAIA's Director of Public Relations and former primetime anchor at CNN, and Dr. Niaz Kasravi, PAAIA's Director of Community Relations will be on hand to introduce PAAIA and answer any questions.

The confirmed schedule of events is as follows:

Orlando, FL: Saturday February 21st, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the University of Central Florida
Miami, FL: Sunday February 22nd, 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the University of Miami

For more details and to RSVP, check the Events section of PAAIA's website. Please send information on these events to your family and friends in Florida.

We will be visiting other cities in 2009 and hope to see you in your local area.
