Ahmadinejad says Iran ready for dialogue with mutual respect

TEHRAN, Feb. 10 (ISNA)-Iran's President said the country is ready for dialogue under just climate and mutual respect.

The US new administration has announced it wants to bring change and take the path of dialogue, it is very clear that the change must be fundamental instead of tactical, said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Tuesday to tens of thousands of Iranians who gathered in Azadi (Freedom) square in Tehran to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Islamic Revolution.

"Iran's nation welcomes real changes, Iran's nation is ready for dialogue, but dialogue in a just climate and with mutual respect."

Iran's nation is a true and real superpower, Ahmadinejad added, Iran is a competent and justice-seeker power that befriends all nations and has no eye for territories and interests of others.

It is impossible that someone presumes he is able to threaten Iran's nation

"Today, the world is passing materialism, authoritarianism and bullying era and the time when the military and economic power could have the supreme role, the world is on the verge of entering the era of thoughts, logic and dialogue."

They (the West) said they want to defy terrorism, Iranians have been fighting against terrorists for 30 years, and if they really want to defy the phenomenon they should cooperate with Iran's nation that is the biggest victim of terrorism, he said.

Ahmadinejad also addressed claimants of campaign against atomic munitions, Weapons of Mass Destruction and narcotics and emphasized they must stand beside Iran's nations and cooperate so that Iranians could introduce the right path in this regard.

He then asserted if the West wants to eradicate terrorism it must prosecute the factors of a couple of recent wars in the region and in Persian Gulf including US previous President George W Bush whose attacks to the region left nearly 1 million people dead and millions displaced.

He then called for reshuffle of the UN Security Council in case the world wants real security to be restored.

Of course this development needs a fundamental change in attitude and behavior and Iran hopes the objective would be achieved, the world is not willing the dark era of Bush be repeated, he noted.

He then urged governments to stand behind their nations and respect their will saying in "Gaza issue you should have stood next to your nations but some were deceived by enemies and evils."

Pointing to Omid satellite launch he added humiliation, threats and monopolizing science are levers of the Arrogance for domination of nations and thanks to God Iran's nation has torn down these levers.
