TEHRAN,
Jan. 02 (ISNA)-Head of Iran's Fisheries Organization Vahid Zare Mahforouzi said
Iran is trying to preserve its share of Caspian Sea Caviar export.
At the 29th meeting of the commission of biological resources of Caspian Sea in
Turkmenistan, the five littoral states discussed the share of sturgeon fishery
in the future but due to Iran's suggestion they decided to define the quota of
each state at another meeting, he noted.
Iran pours the least amount of pollution to the sea and compared with the 4
other countries has the least of illegal fishery thus Turkmenistan, Russia,
Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan agreed with the suggestion to put off defining the
quota, he said.
The five countries will have another meeting to discuss the issue and
particularly Iran's proposals in this regard to decide the shares, he added.

Iran also intends to preserve its Caspian Sea caviar export share for this year
and upcoming years.
Iran will be heading the commission of biological resources of Caspian Sea in
2009 and 2010.
