Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA -- Advisor to Majlis Speaker Hassan Zamani said on Saturday that the Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani will attend the 45th Munich security conference on Friday.

Zamani told IRNA that Iranian Majlis speaker will deliver a speech in the opening session on Friday.

Munich security conference is to be held during February 6-7, he said.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will deliver the opening speech at Munich security conference on Friday.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai, German foreign minister, IAEA head Mohamed ElBaradei, US Vice President Joe Biden, and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin are among the participants in the conference.

Various topics on the agenda will include weapons control, Middle East conflict as well as the situation in Afghanistan.
