TEHRAN (ISNA)-The 30th regional meeting of the Commission for Caspian's marine living resources has been started in Anzali port city, Iran.

Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have convened in Iran on Wednesday for a two-day meeting with the aim of synchronizing cooperation of the countries in preserving Caspian Sea living resources.

Sustainable utilization of the sea by the littoral states, saving living resources of the sea, cooperation in common scientific researches of the parties in regard with the living resources and the environment, the trend of defining fishing quota according to international standards, cooperation with international programs and organizations, agreement on preservation and utilization of the sea resources and campaign against illegal fishing are among the topics being discussed in the meeting.
