Tehran, June 2, IRNA -- The value of Iran's non-oil exports to Iraq will exceed three billion dollars by the end of current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2010), an Iranian diplomat said on Tuesday.
"Iran exported more than $2.3 billion worth of commodities to Iraq last year," Iran's commercial attaché to Iraq Mehdi Nejat-Nia said.
He added that the value of Iran's export of goods and services to Iraq stood at five billion dollars last year.
Iran's exports to Iraq in services sector mainly included electricity industries, water and tourism.
The official said that Iran's export to Iraq would be increased to more than $10 billion in the next few years.
