US theaters to screen Superstar by Iranian Director Tahmineh Milani
Press TV - Superstar by Iran's prominent filmmaker Tahmineh Milani is
scheduled to hit silver screens at three movie theaters in California.
Milani's Superstar revisits the story of a young actor drowning in his
super fame. A girl, claiming to be his child, enters the superstar's life and
opens his eyes to the life he has deprived himself of.
The film, currently on screen in Iranian theaters, has earned about $8 million,
which is a gratifying figure, the film's producer Mohammad Nikbin told Mehr News
Agency.
Shahab Hosseini, Fattaneh Malekmohammadi and Nasrin Moqanlu are cast in the
film, which will go on screen in the US beginning June 10.
