Press TV - A gun attack on two trucks on the Nosratabad-Bam road near the southeastern Iranian border with Pakistan and Afghanistan has left one person dead and two injured.
"Initial investigations indicate that armed rogue elements have shot at the trucks," the acting head of Iran's police force, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan, said in Zahedan.
The late Tuesday killing is the latest act of organized violence since a suicide bomb blast in a mosque in the southeastern city of Zahedan last Thursday, which left 25 dead and more than a hundred injured.
The anti-Iran Jundullah terror group based in Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the bombing, saying it was carried out as part of their efforts to destabilize the country ahead of the June 12 presidential elections in Iran.
Iran has launched a manhunt to find the culprits of the latest act of violence.
