AIC Symposium on: The Obama Administration and US-Iran Relations & AIC Norouz Reception

The First Ever Norouz Reception Held on Capitol Hill

Purpose: The policy symposium focuses on the challenges and opportunities the Obama Administration faces given the many U.S. differences and commonalities with Iran. We expect a vigorous debate from a diverse group of speakers and members of the audience. AIC is also proud to present the first ever Norouz Reception held on Capitol Hill.  Norouz is the celebration of the Iranian New Year, and it literally means a "new day."  Although the relationship has many points of difficulty, the possibility that a new day will come to US-Iran relations is real.

Place, Date and Time: This Symposium and Norouz Reception will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held on Capitol Hill. Further details will be provided upon registration, which is required. Please visit the AIC website for more detailed event information.

Speakers and Audience: We are confirming participants from the U.S. Congress, diplomatic, policy and business communities, academia, media, think tanks and general public.
