London, May 13, IRNA - Iran's Embassy in London has erected a stand in the UK World Market, helping the country's International Social Service (ISS) raise fund for vulnerable families and children.
IRNA correspondent reported from the two-day charity fair that the Iranian Embassy provided the visitors with cultural commodities and handicrafts from Iran.
The Iranian stand also presented traditional Iranian food from different cities, which was warmly welcomed by the visitors.
Hundreds of thousands of pounds are expected to be raised during the two-day charity fair organized by the ISS on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the UK World Market, formerly known as the Spring Fair.
Foreign representatives from various countries also participated in the festival to display and sell local foods and crafts.
ISS officials hope the charity fair could raise a record amount for charity.
Women from Iran and other Islamic countries also attended the exhibition to raise fund for vulnerable families and children.
