Saveh, Tehran prov, IRNA – The project to build the biggest tourism, residential and sports complex in the Middle East began in Roudshour, near Zarandieh, Central province.

It was announced at the ground breaking ceremony that the project will be completed within eight to ten years at a cost of 22,000 billions rials.

Founder of the complex, Seyyed Javad Mousavi said that the project will be implemented in two stages.

The biggest entertainment park in the Middle East with a 100-meter-high monorail is to be built in the first stage of the project which began in December 2008, he said.

The order for monorail has been placed with a European country, he said.

This is the third highest in the world, beside which, a 15-hectare water park as well as a dam with two kilometers in length, 600 meters in width and 13 meters in height will be constructed.

The second project includes establishment of golf club, sports stadiums and camps for national teams and volleyball and basketball saloons.
