Tehran, May 17, IRNA -- Uganda's President Yowery Museveni left Tehran for his country on Sunday.
He was officially seen off by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The two presidents outlined the outcomes of their meetings to reporters before Museveni' departure.
The Ugandan president, accompanied with his ministers of foreign affairs, energy, defense and agriculture arrived in Tehran on Sunday to hold meetings with different Iranian officials.
Foreign ministers of Iran and Uganda issued a joint statement.
The two countries called for expansion of Tehran-Kampala cooperation in industrial, agricultural, commercial and energy fields.
The two states have also agreed to boost bilateral cooperation at regional and international levels.
