The terrorist bombing at Imam Ali mosque in the
city of Zahedan on Thursday evening left 19 people dead and another 125 injured.
According to the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan province, a number of the agents
involved in the terrorist attack have been arrested and are being interrogated.

Zahedan is a city in
southeastern Iran and the capital of the province of
Sistan o
Baluchestan. The city had an estimated population of 580,071 in
2005. Zahedan is located near the borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan,
at an altitude of 1,352 meters above sea level and at a distance of
1,605 kms from the Iranian capital of Tehran. |
