ARNHEM, Netherlands, Nov. 1 (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran claimed the bronze medal in the 2009 CPISRA Football 7-a-side Championships in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Iran beat Brazil 1-0 in the match played at the National Sports Center Papendal on Saturday and finished in third place.

Iran had already defeated Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and Ireland, but it lost to Russia.

Russia defeated Ukraine in the final match and won the championship.
