Green Scroll March to the Capitol on November 15

Sunday, November 15th, 2:00PM

We will gather in front of the Washington Monument facing Constitution Ave NW

The Green Scroll is a mile long petition signed in a 195 cities all over the world.  This is a petition that simply states Ahmadinejad is NOT Iran's president.  This is a petition against a government that responds to peaceful protests of its own people with violence, torture, bullets, murder and rape.  This is a petition that supports human rights, freedom, and the right for democracy for the oppressed.

The Green Scroll has traveled from Paris on The Global Day of Action, to Stockholm for the EU summit, to New York for the UN summit, and now it is coming to Washington DC on the International Students' Day to honor students who have forever been on the front lines of the struggle against injustice and in the pursuit of freedom.

Join us in our march to the Capitol.  Join us as we stand in support of the people in Iran in their demand to the world against the recognition of this fraudulent election.

Help us carry this mile long green petition that symbolizes the solidarity and support for the Iranian people from all around the world.   Help us raise this beautiful, breathtaking, and historic display of both defiance and unity.
