about 8pm and showed a warrant to my husband, and then took him away.” She added
that the agents were courteous and talked with my husband for a short while
before taking him with them. “They showed the signed warrant to him and it
appeared that they were explaining why he was being arrested,” she said.
In response to her question as to where the agents were taking her husband, Mrs.
Khalafi said, “They said ward 209 of Evin prison and said that I could pursue
the case at the security branch of the revolutionary court.”
She also said that during the entire time they were in the house and spoke with
her husband and herself, one of the agents video taped the whole episode.
Mrs. Khalafi said that she felt the reason for the arrest was the November 4th
event adding that she hoped her husband would be released soon. She said she was
going to the revolutionary court on Wednesday along with Mr. Mojtahedizadeh,
