A night of Persian Traditional/Folk Music and Omar Khayyam’s poetry. A combination of dynamic rhythms coming from different ethnic groups in Iran.

The singers perform a variety of songs in Farsi and in Kurdish. The ensemble was founded in 1985 in Baltimore.

The founder Ahmad Borhani is a five times Maryland State Arts Council music award winner.
