TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran wrapped up its five-day aerial maneuver dubbed "Sky of Velayat 2" on Thursday.

The message of the maneuver to Iran's neighbors and friends is peace, but it also shows that Iranian armed forces are fully ready to encounter any possible threat.

The drill covered some 600,000 square kilometers, spreading across the central, western and southern parts of the country and it was accomplished in three stages.

Iran's Army, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Basij members took part in the maneuver.
