Iranian Memphis Grizzlies center Hamed Haddadi played against Washington Wizards in the 2009-10 National Basketball Association (NBA) preseason on Wednesday.

Grizzlies lost 101-92 to Washington Wizards in the warm up match played in the Richmond's Virginia Commonwealth''s University.

The 7-2, who spent most of last season in the D-League, played 14 minutes in the opener and scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Grizzlies prepares for the 64th season of NBA which will begin from October 27, 2009 and will end on April 14, 2010.
