TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) Nouroddin Shahnazizadeh said the country is able to produce its required petrol within 48 hours. Concerning the probable petrol embargo against Iran, Shahnazizadeh said all arrangements are made and there is no problem. "In this regard, plans have been made so that the emergency production program will be implemented within 48 hours," he said.

Also regarding the embargo against some required parts for development of refineries, he said "sanction is not a new issue and these parts can be provided from countries except the US and Europe."

Also the US House of Representatives has recently adopted a text aimed at sanctioning foreign companies which sell fuel to Iran.

The West accuses Iran of building nuclear weapons, but Tehran denies the allegation and says its nuclear programs only seek peaceful purposes.
