Press TV - Iran remains top of Group C following a goalless draw against
Colombia at the FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Nigeria.

Iran-Columbia game
"We knew that Colombia are a good
team. They take advantage of their technical experience and high speed," said
Iran's coach, Ali Dousti, after the Wednesday night game.
The Group C match was suspended for over an hour in the 55th minute due to
torrential rainfall and a flooded pitch.

The Iranian squad thrashed African
champions Gambia 2-0 in its first game of the event.
Iran will be guaranteed a place in the next round if it draws with the
Netherlands in its third game on Saturday.
The Iranian team heads Group C on 4 points followed by Colombia, which is second
only because of lower goal difference.
The Netherlands sit third with three points and Gambia is at the bottom of the
group without a single point.
