Apply for a PARSA Community Foundation Student and Community Leadership Initiative Grant!
|
Across the United States, Iranian-Americans are joining together, sharing our
culture and becoming active citizens. Since its inception, PARSA CF has raised
funds for two groups that are vital to cultural disseminating and organized
action:
student groups and cultural
centers. PARSA CF is committed to their long term viability and will
continue to champion their success.
PARSA Community Foundation is inviting
student organizations and cultural centers to submit inquiry forms for its
Student and Community Leadership Initiative Grant by
December 4, 2009. Based on a positive review, applicants
will be invited to submit full proposals,
due on January 9, 2010. This grant
initiative is in tandem with PARSA CF's 2010 Norooz grant cycle.
- Selected college student organizations and community centers will
receive grants of $1,000 to $3,000 for one year.
These grants are provided to assist student and cultural centers to:
- Organize Norooz events at universities, city halls,
state legislatures,
museums, libraries or other public institutions.
- Participate in civic projects, including a national effort to make
sure every Iranian-American stands up and is counted in the
United States Census
and is registered to vote.

all Iranian and Persian-speaking ethnic groups among applying community and
cultural centers.

demonstrates increased measurable outcomes. We encourage grant seekers to begin
the inquiry process well in advance of the due date. For more information on the
