The International Quds Day originated in Iran 30 years ago. It was a call upon the Muslims of the world to make the last day of the holy month of Ramadan the day of Quds.  It was a call to Muslims and Muslim governments to joint hands and stand in support of their oppressed brothers and sisters in Palestine.  To make the voices of the oppressed heard, to stand against the aggressor, to stand against violence, to stand against deception, and to stand for freedom.

Now the Iranian people have become the oppressed, and the Iranian government has become the oppressor.  The Iranian government has responded to the peaceful protest of it's own people with violence, with bullets, with torture, and with rape. 

We ask you to come in the same spirit of opposition to injustice, in opposition to oppression and in support of freedom for all the innocents.  The International Quds Day will no longer be a day dedicated to propaganda of the Iranian government, but a day dedicated to freedom.
